Promotions in your email signature
A sale, a seasonal offer, a discount code: run it under every email for exactly as long as it is true, then let it go without anyone remembering.
Free for a month. No card needed.
The short answer
Make a banner with the offer and a link, and schedule it as a campaign with a start and end date. It appears under your emails while the offer runs and disappears when it ends.
01
An offer still showing after it ends costs goodwill. Campaign end dates take a banner out of every email at midnight after the last day.
02
When a flash sale overlaps the season's offer, the higher priority shows. When it ends, the other comes back.
03
See clicks and click-through rate per campaign, and compare promotions with content or events.
Questions
Yes, with campaigns switched on. Your signature carries one banner slot that is filled when the email is opened, so a campaign you schedule appears under every email that shows it, including ones sent before it started (a mail app that has already shown an email may keep its copy). Campaigns have start and end dates and 3 priority levels.
No. There is no tracking pixel in any signature. Clicks on your signature's own links are counted, and that can be switched off on your dashboard.
Your first month is free, with no card needed. After that it is £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year in the UK, €2.99 or €29.99 where the euro is the currency, and US$2.99 or US$29.99 everywhere else, with tax included, and you can cancel at any time.
Current Outlook plays the animation unless animation effects are switched off in Windows; older versions show the first frame. Every design starts on its finished frame, so either way they see a complete signature.
Schedule it once. It starts and stops by itself.
